What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I can't get through this review without mentioning the incredible soundtrack by Le Matos (who also created the Turbo Kid movie soundtrack).
Every unlock feels meaningful, every quest completed leads to a new adventure.
The gameplay is superb
Not only are the game mechanics really fun, you are buried in what appears to be canon lore, the graphics are great, and the music is sooo good with the expansion upon the theme and songs from Le Matos on the movie OST.
The atmosphere and mood of each area really sucked me into the game, and everything looked great on both my 77inch OLED TV and on my Steam Deck.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 5 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
