The plot is a doozy because it is quite literally a self-referential story about how fans REALLY wanted a sequel to the beloved game Katamari Damacy.
With this remaster, it is back with its catchy soundtrack and charming visuals, but bigger and better than ever!
That is once you get used to the controls, since I should give a word of advice for those looking to play this game that, although the keyboard is a serviceable way of playing the sequel to this game, We Love Katamari, it does come across the usual problem of games designed with consoles and their controllers in mind being ported over to a PC platform with said 'controller' being a keyboard, as several things stood out to me prior to chancing it with linking up with a console controller for specifically this game here, as turning is made more difficult than it needs to be without full analogue control, dashing forward is especially hard to pull off with mashing the forward + backward buttons to initiate the dash (since, again, the analogue sticks on a controller makes this more intuitive to pull off without wasting valuable time trying to get it to work on a keyboard) and using one of the most helpful techniques, flipping over a katamari to the other side for quick turns, is nigh-on impossible to do properly with a keyboard, hence why I plugged in my PlayStation 5 DualShock controller which thankfully worked and made the game's control FAR better to play in my personal opinion here!
