The final boss in the first game was a real highlight for me, as was Polonte the Hatchling from the second game, both gameplay and narrative wise.
The remade graphics look really nice and remain faithful to their original artistic vision, with the FMV cutscenes redone in-engine.

A new addition to this version of the duology I really appreciate is the addition of being able to change the difficulty, starting with only easy or normal at first but unlocking a new hard mode once you beat either game once not only making the game more accessible to new players but also given veterans a new challenge.
There's no voice acting, instead the characters speak in their own language that sounds very convincing and believable, adding to the immersion.
The collection also features quality-of-life improvements like updated save systems and a streamlined user interface, allowing players to focus on the adventure without unnecessary frustration.
