All in all the combination of fun and smooth gameplay, with creative level designs and a gorgeous artstyle made this game into something that i actually really enjoyed in the 5 or so hours that i spent with it.
Graphics and art style are pretty good, animation is fine, sound is nice, controls are responsive (if fussy with the hitboxes) and it doesn’t take long to finish.
Can recommend this game mainly if it's on discount as it's a bit short if you're good with a controller (~3 hours if speedy with a couple hundred deaths).
The sound effects in general are quite satisfying, and while the music isn't the best around by any means, it fits the game well enough.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
