While the story may appear slow at the outset, it gradually evolves into something unexpected and captivating.

The gameplay is simple yet complex, the RPG elements are very thought of, everything was superb.

Grinding feels very rewarding where each and every weapons, shield, armor you unlock have a Mastery gauge where once maxed will give you a reward.

The particle effects of magic, weapon swing animation, skills, they feel very impactful added with a really good SFX.

Combined with multiple difficulty settings, equipment mastery, character building, secrets, extensive story content, and postgame progression, there is considerable longevity for players who become invested in its systems.

I remember when I first bought it, I was kind of put off by the art-style because I thought it was an RPG Maker asset flip type of game; however, all of the art and visuals in this game are actually completely original--this is not some RPG Maker nonsense.
