Terminator 2D: NO FATE

Must be played on hard difficulty to fully appreciate the depth of the gameplay and have an experience that is more than just the amazing fan service offered here.

What I really like is the fact that they keep the story very close to the movie in terms of the locations, such as the police station, the hospital ward, and Skynet headquarters.

The difficulty curve is a sweet spot; it respects your time by being fair, yet demands the kind of "axe-sharpening" practice that anyone from the 80s and 90s are familiar with.

The strong body with huge arm and leg muscles, spectacular pectorals, a defined six-pack of abs, and a missing appendix from long-term steroid use, all rendered in pixelated graphics, is brilliant.

They did an absolutely amazing job with both the music and sound effects.

There is joy in experiencing it, perhaps showing your friends; in taking your time and finding the neat little touches like how you can swat back grenades with the minigun melee swing, or duck under a ridge to avoid a lunging terminator-dog.
