Crimzon Clover is probably one of the best Shmups that I can think of, this version of the game offers so much content and gameplay that it is absolutely worth the price of admission.
The game runs flawlessly and has a great aesthetic style which combines old school arcade visuals while still retaining a unique identiy, it is smooth and looks marvelous.
Coupled with immensely fun boss fights, extremely well choreographed levels and enemy placements, and an absolute banger of a soundtrack, these are the qualities which made my long and treacherous journey with Crimzon Clover so endurable and fun.
edit: runs great on steamdeck!
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
