The Upturned

I wanted to hate this game only because I am terrible at puzzle and platformer type games (and not to mention the extreme carpal tunnel I got from playing this game), but it ended up being kind of a bitter sweet ending that left me feeling rather accomplished.

How the writing will make you laugh even if it's a little weird at times, but how that pairs with the gameplay well to keep you entertained in multiple ways.

The smart sound design for a comedic game with horror elements is well done, and the visuals while overall took dark for my liking, push the game into an uneasy atmosphere yet still allowing you to laugh at any point.

The graphics were pretty good and I definitely see how much work and effort was put into this game regardless of how annoying it could be lol.

such a fun and well made game. the mechanics are so simple, but utilized so well. as soon as things start getting boring, there's a unique challenge to overcome. the difficulty feels perfect too. it's not hard, but not too easy as well. zeekers masterclass.
