Starting off with graphics, I can say I appreciate what they're going for, and some of the animals look absolutely adorable- and maybe it's because I don't like the look of certains breeds.. but some are straight out of uncanny valley.That being said, for what this game is- it is aesthetically pleasing.
WHERE another gameplay mechanic comes into play, hiring employees to both run the front desk and help with pets can be available but the addition of this feature makes me wish this was multiplayer.
The narrative in challenge mode is funny, it basically starts with "Our hotel is going bankrupt, please fix us in 60 days" and a phone call '"We are a marketing company in your area and offer you a free 2 day trial" and there are no characters or story whatsoever, but you can make that up yourself.
Once you complete challenge mode there is simply a screen "You made it" and only an option to return to the main menu, not even to continue your saved game XD.
The gameplay was engaging and fun, and the challenge level was just right - not too easy, but not too frustrating either.
