Beyond The Edge Of Owlsgard

It's a very solid point and click adventure with a story that I found myself sucked into, with lovable characters and it's all highly interactive, I was really surprised at the sheer amount of unique lines of dialog there are for trying all kinds of things that in most other similar games would've just gotten the same few canned responses.

The soundtrack leans into melodic, understated compositions that shift tone as the story grows darker and more complex.

And the art style is amazing - the characters are creative, emotive and gorgeous - and so are the backgrounds or the worlds they live in.

Rather than relying on shock or spectacle, the game builds emotional engagement through subtle character moments, shared memories, and the quiet weight of responsibility placed on Finn’s shoulders.

Puzzle design is generally thoughtful and varied, drawing on inventory combinations, environmental manipulation, and narrative context rather than arbitrary obstacles.

There were a couple times of wandering between a few screens wondering what to try next, but in the end, finished in about 10 hours, and that felt rewarding (on "Classic" difficulty).
