The chess mechanics feel very natural, and each piece has its own variety of movement puzzles which all mesh together nicely when you have a variety of pieces on the board.

The difficulty feels just right; all of the puzzles require some thought and clever thinking, but none of them are hard enough that I got stuck on them, so the game has a very nice flow to it.
