What players think
The recurring themes across 96 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It is Asteroids Deluxe with vibrant colour vector graphics and a novel 2-player mode.
The challenges do a great job of mixing up the gameplay.
On top of that, controller does not seem to work for P1 at all, and various other buttons (including the remapping ones) just do not seem to function.
If I add to it poorly designed challenges and underwhelming sound effects, inferior to the original game released decades ago (seriously, they lack the depth and impact of the original's sound effects, which were quite immersive and definitely fun to hear, especially considering the technological limitations that were present back in the day), I can't help but really struggle to hide my disappointment.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
