What players think
The recurring themes across 48 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While the graphics are functional rather than flashy, the three-dimensional environments improve spatial awareness and immersion, making the Pit feel more like a real, hostile place rather than a series of abstract rooms.
Everything feels much snappier, target selection is much clearer, information is conveyed in much simpler/easier to identify ways in a lot of cases (the addition of remaining attempt numbers and max stack sizes are nice), and I can definitely see why some decisions were made in the ways they were made (like having items only load their visuals once viewed in the Sotsdex/Sotsdex loot pool/in the inventory, to decrease level load times).
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
