The Mermaid Mask

The Mermaid's Mask is a well-crafted mystery with mostly minor nitpicks, and its highlights are the hand-drawn animation and fascinating characters.

As always, the artwork is bright, colourful and absolutely gorgeous, the background music is so lovely and fun (you wouldn't mind hearing it on repeat), and the voice acting is incredible.

While MM maintains the style of its predecessors, the Devs have refreshed the game by introducing 3D model animations to explain certain scenes, have made the game mechanics more balanced and engaging, and also increased the number of puzzles (you know... some were quite challenging... thanks guides drafters!) without being frustrating.

While the character design and the writing has my praises, it took me a bit to warm up to the music.

Visually, The Mermaid Mask remains immediately recognizable thanks to its hand-painted art style.

Spectacular and builds on the original game play of Tangle Tower, The game is beautiful, the puzzles range in difficulty which is lovely, and the story and the mystery it's self is very very good.
