I'm not clear why anyone would dislike it, as it's clever, with a good story base.
The gameplay is cute with some fun ideas, but it gets same-y very often.
the presentation is top notch with excellent pixel graphics and great space-country, electronic, chiptune and other types of music. settings are plentiful too. separate volumes, resolutions, windowed mode, v-sync, framerate limiter, and best of all, text display options every game should have: size, speed, dyslexic font, automatic/manual progress, typewriter effect and text effect toggles. there's also a dominant hand and pronoun setting.
Going into FixFox almost completely blind, I, at first, experienced a charming, funny game with a sci-fi story, lovely pixel art, and a relaxing soundtrack, but at the end of the game, I was very moved by the story.
