What players think
The recurring themes across 94 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The art style is charmingly rough and cartoony, but the first two areas of the three blend together visually.
Rather than trying to compete with massive roguelikes filled with endless systems, Hellblusser embraces brevity, replayability, and expressive combat, delivering a game that feels immediately approachable while still rewarding mastery over time.
Great little game, with a nice amount of replayability for the price!
The atmosphere is really cool, the artstyle is interesting, the music/SFX are great, and it all comes together into a nice flowing dungeon crawler that just feels good to play through without having to think too hard.
Endless mode has been enjoyable as well, however, at this current time of writing this review / current game version, I am not sure how far you can actually push with endless mode because the item purchase options are very limited, and once you acquire all blessings, that's it, you're at max strength.
