What players think
The recurring themes across 23 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
SANYA is a narrative adventure centred around childhood memories and nostalgia.
Whilst it is much shorter than I expected, this cozy title’s simple gameplay and beautiful artstyle creates a homely and relaxing aura with an abundance of secrets to discover.
It’s true that its art style is sweet and its simple story is calming and might even bring you a smile or two, but considering that one playthrough takes around 1.5 hours at a relaxed pace and that there is close to zero replayability (aside from obtaining those mutually exclusive achievements), I would advise waiting for a deep sale before diving in.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
