The list of roles (telegraphers, reporters, photographers, advertisers) and the satisfying mechanic of matching related stories for better profits make the core loop fun and tactile.

The period setting is a big strength — the Art Deco visuals and smooth jazz soundtrack give genuine old-New York newsroom vibes, and historical headlines from the Great Depression era add depth to the experience.

The recent update adding difficulty levels was awesome: I was actually starting to get a bit bored in the endgame but the newly-added "hard' difficulty level made everything much more challenging.

The game loop is fun and the UI is easy, and the period setting fits perfectly with the incredible art style and fantastic soundtrack.

There's clearly room to expand the world and the story, and I wonder how far the developers can take it before a massive in-universe technological shift is needed.

It's atmospheric in a way that makes the optimization feel meaningful instead of abstract — you're not just min-maxing a factory, you're building a living institution.
