Replayability is there with different weapon options, upgrades, and secrets - I'm guessing this title is good for about 8-12 hours of fun if you're into it.
While I do think 2d pixel art style looks better from the original, this new 2.5d art style is pretty cool too.
The game is now a shoot ‘em up and comes with some good gameplay, level design, visuals, music, and some really solid weapon variety.
Most of the weapons in this tend to more balanced and I found myself mixing up my loadout more than the original Valfaris, I liked how there was a little more dialogue and lore in between bosses as well as being able to fight Vroll.
Absolutely metal, I've had this one in my library for a bit (got the first game free from an unrelated discord giveaway, bought this one on release and am enjoying it with my Steam deck), I'm sort of taking this one slow.
