After about 14 hours, I can say the gameplay is solid.
This game has 3 different game modes but 90% of my playtime is just in one mode, battlefield mode. this mode has RPG like elements and your able to attempt a "no death" run which is my personal favorite. the stages you play on have historical significance and the game provides a brief description as to why, the game also tracks your stats for each completed stage so you can attempt a better run. the controls for controller are a pain at the start but this game is worth the time it took me to re-map the controls, i also community shared my layout for everyone. theres only two "cons" in this game i have so far besides the controller support: if your under heavy fire and pause the game often times one gun sound sticks until you unpause the game, the second thing is sometimes the game boots take a little long or i have to re-select the game through a window tab to get it to start(i play in big picture mode)
its rare to see a game with this art style and mechanics. i really love how its unique and very intertaining. worth buying.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
