I was able to blow through the levels without much difficulty at all which suggests that the game is aiming for people to replay the time trials again and again but I didn't really feel much motivation to.

It's very well optimized, sometimes a small stutter when traversing menus but restarting a level is instantanious so it doesn't impede on the overall experience.
