Having that accuracy really helps to make the gameplay that much more satisfying.
And while this, and some other input lag related issues were fixed with the use of dgvoodoo and SpecialK, this SHOULD NOT BE a solution, tools like that should be used to make a thing better if you are a sweaty tryhard nerd like me, not to make something THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE FOR A GAME THAT COSTS 40 DOLLARS (Both this and G Darius HD use DirectX9 x86, so transform it with dgvoodoo to DirectX11, then SpecialK allows you to use a borderless fullscreen, alongside other tweaks like nvidia's low latency + boost and some other tweaks, Ray'Z was made with DirectX11 straight up, so the dgvoodoo step is skipped over there)
Darius Gaiden, arguably the crown jewel of the collection, represents the series at its most polished, with dynamic backgrounds, layered parallax scrolling, and a hypnotic Zuntata soundtrack that blends electronica and melancholy melodies into something hauntingly beautiful.
The music and visuals of it still hold up extremely well.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
