Altheia: The Wrath of Aferi is a fantasy action-adventure RPG developed by MarsLit Games and published by Neon Doctrine and Game Seer Publishing that embraces the spirit of classic adventure games while crafting its own heartfelt story filled with exploration, puzzle-solving, dungeon challenges, and character growth.
I spent almost 30 hours with the pre-release build of Altheia: The Wrath of Aferi (though the main adventure is closer to 15), and it completely hooked me from start to finish. The cel-shaded visuals are gorgeous, the puzzles are clever and consistently rewarding, and the dual-character mechanics with Lili and Sadi add a fresh twist that even longtime Zelda fans will appreciate.
Through a combination of action-oriented gameplay and emotionally driven storytelling, the game delivers an adventure that feels both nostalgic and modern.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
