What players think
The recurring themes across 50 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Admittedly, despite my critique, I did enjoy the playthrough more than not, as the gameplay was satisfying.
There's lots of charm in the dialogue, the score is bubbly and a joy to listen to, and exploring and doing the side quests was fun!
The gbc like graphics are nice~ in my personal opinion, but the gameplay is really, really fun.
Though the game may look simple, I also don't feel like the game is too easy either.
As an old school (S)NES RPG player I was really pleased to play this game, the gameplay feels like playing Zelda - A Link to the Past, with a Megaman like soundtrack !
It perfectly captures the magic of the older NES-era games where you could sit down, grab the controller and play a game without having to trudge through hours of tutorials.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
