At the same time, I think that Palwold could be an amazing game, if only the devs focused on polishing the current features, instead of adding flashy new mechanics that don't address the core issues of the gameplay loop.
Overall I recommend this game WITH FRIENDS and if you are okay with not having a story to follow or hard goals to achieve with some bugs.
Starting with the visuals, I think they look great.
I understand that you can play in multiplayer and maybe give them to other players, but why not include a "hide completed" option?
And instead of adding yet another tier of equipment with higher stats, the current equipment and key-items system should have been trimmed down and optimized for QoL.
Crafting / building / coop type games are huge at the moment and the fact that this also has a different combat engine certainly makes it stand out from any other game.
