The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
having the doom style melee to reload is a good gameplay idea but none of the classes take advantage of it aside maybe ninja making it have aoe, like despite the game trying to have its own identity it winds up being much more shallow than the fangame it borrows its gameplay with, there's no farms to risk reward losing out on early upgrades for stronger ones cause the current system you get max upgrades by round 15, the minions is its own class you get locked out of now instead of having a random ace you can upgrade seperately from your character, and there's no crosspathing from the game that fangame was inspired from.
Edit: after the mythical multiplayer update, the game is a lot better.
It's a simple fps round based zombies survival game where you can get varying upgrades from xp points you get once in a while and other little upgrades that you get with money, the game is pretty simple and isn't all that but it's only 10$ and has a good bloons mod.
So far, I believe this has a LOT of potential, art style and feel of it is very unique and fun, and you can see a lot of passion, especially because there is only one person working on this, but the game play can't match it.
I haven't tried co-op so I can't tell you if the game is good for that, so I will review off of my 10+ hr experience with the new update with solo play in mind.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
