To start with something positive, the first ~30 minutes or so I was somewhat impressed by the detail of the locations and the 3D modeling of the character, as well as a relatively smooth 3D animation, you can even control your flashlight independently which is a cool mechanic in this game for both puzzles and fighting enemies Alone In The Dark 4 style.

The game takes its time to introduce the cast and the initial setting, with some decent acting and dialogue.

What struck me the most was the unique art style and the combination of 2d and 3d elements to create the world around Kriophobia, following again the inspiration from the classics and their pre-rendered environments with fixed cameras.
