What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Despite being a spin-off, P4AU canonically happens after Persona 3 & 4 and therefore, it relies on having previous knowledge of those games, while also casually spoiling their plot points and story reveals.
There are also 22 playable characters, and that's not counting their alternate Shadow variants which use different gameplay tactics.
Sound issues, with the sound being overall pretty quiet then suddenly some sound effects are way louder than the rest.
P4AU itself is an incredible game, very fun to play with excellent characters and a very colorful, flashy and vibrant visuals.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
