Tres-Bashers is innovative without re-inventing the wheel, just an interesting mix of gameplay mechanics with a very charming visual style and whimsical premise: You must help Terry Pinkerton rescue his friend from Sasquatch, the King of the Cryptids, by infiltrating your haunted high school and bashing the monsters hiding inside.
Everything from the level design to the music oozes charm.
That said, its fun metroidvania with old school graphics and music but modern gameplay and quality of life design.
The charm of cute simple characters with detailed set pieces and monsters work so well together, with fantastic music, and some seriously tight controls.
~ I'd love a hard mode
