What players think
The recurring themes across 215 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There's a lot of small things that scream unpolished: You can't use the mouse in the menus so you have to use arrow keys and enter, enemies spawn with no VFX and will often on screen just pop into existence, as far as I can tell there's no tutorial or information on individual monsters to help inform your build... (a little bit in the Codex but it's all flavoured as lore rather than gameplay really, a basic blurb should be on character select) it just feels very barebones despite a very obvious amount of love and passion being put into it.
At the moment this is a one time play, we need better mechanics, more monsters, arcade vs mode (pvp or pve), i would get rid of the wave system, its almost pointless random stuff just spawns everywhere constantly, so it's a no for me for now but hopefully not forever.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and are not shown.
