What players think
The recurring themes across 263 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The graphics are nice looking as you can tell from the trailer/screenshots above.
Metamorphos is a souls-like that was created by a team that was passionate about the 'souls-like' genre, and it's not difficult to tell where some of the inspiration lies, (mid-combat stamina management, restrained healing system, difficulty, environmental story telling) but it's not too abstract to prevent you from picking it up having never played those before.
I do wish the VFX and SFX of the combat were stronger for a game of this genre.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
