What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The game itself gives you the prequel to what happended in the first game (as expected) and delivers in terms of expanding the world of Mr Hopp, giving the characters more depth and a story.
The gameplay is really good and feels like it has its own flair instead of being another 2d pixel game, and the atmosphere only enhances this.
The sound design is phenomenal, voice acting really really good - it is awesome to see how an idea of a short 2D-Sidescroller indie horror game turned into what we can see now.
I recommend this game it very Fun love the characters and voice acting, love the art style, and the horror!
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
