Tyrion Cuthbert: Attorney of the Arcane

As a VN this is absolutely something I expect to be at least decent if people are going to stay engaged, but the story definitely exceeded my expectations.

Each case builds and escalates on the last and Tyrion gets pushed into tighter and tighter corners each time, but there's always a way out of it and even in the few times where he gets outside assistance to reach it it always feels earned because of the sheer amount of deductive work you put in leading up to that.

I actually discovered this game through its soundtrack on Spotify because one of my favorite instrumental artists (Shady Cicada) worked on it and the music is awesome even in a vacuum.

The difficulty curve is rather well crafted, giving prompts that stumped me, mainly in the latter half of the game.

Visually, the game adopts a colorful fantasy-inspired art style that fits the tone of the narrative.

Character design is great and I best the sequel will maybe deepen some of those colourful personalities.
