What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
When I picked this game up on sale and saw there were 5 chapters in it, I expected maybe 8-10 hours of decently interesting plot and from the reviews people were leaving it seemed worthwhile enough to experience myself. 21 hours later, I don't think I could have ever believed what this game would put me through.
And then, for the gameplay itself, as an AA fan I was definitely skeptical at first, and made a lot of comparisons, especially because some mechanics are inevitably similar.
I actually discovered this game through its soundtrack on Spotify because one of my favorite instrumental artists (Shady Cicada) worked on it and the music is awesome even in a vacuum.
Visually, the game adopts a colorful fantasy-inspired art style that fits the tone of the narrative.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
