The story is simple, the pacing is solid, and every gun has its own running commentary, which is brilliant because I get bored easily.
Some of their best upgrades are hidden away in chests, because apparently the developers thought “Hey, what if we put essential character progression behind scavenger hunts designed by an eldritch prankster?”
The intro tricks you with a knockoff retro FPS tutorial featuring a guy who sounds like me if I had a sinus infection and a misdemeanor record in another universe.
Very open levels, lots to explore, and the visuals are outstanding.
