What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The additional playable characters are an improvement over Rachel in Sigma 1 (and she's here too), with each having methods to deal with enemies in their own novel way without feeling TOO undercooked compared to Ryu...even though they still kind of are (more on that in the "Bad" section).
NG1 Is like the dark souls of action games before dark souls was around in terms of cultural relevence, level design, and gameplay - so it too holds a special place in everyone's heart.
+ Best graphics, with the most consistent world design
+ Best artistic direction (atmosphere, character design, soundtrack)
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
