What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Includes the all-rounder: Dragon Sword, close-combat champion: V Flail, crowd-controlling Lunar, along with some surprises.
The QoL changes from NG2, and accessible gameplay mechanics from Sigma Plus (PS Vita) make for a satisfying first-time playthrough on Normal or Hero Mode.
No artificial difficulty here: no one-hit kills, no bullet/sword sponges et al. even on the highest difficulties.
Graphics must have been top notch in its time because even here I think it looks pretty good.
The player has to jump through hoops to get the most optimal experience, but the game doesn't crash or stutter consistently.
Spectacular hit feedback, fluid animations, and sound design make for a rewarding visceral experience.
