Strange Horticulture

The game really succeeds on worldbuilding, atmosphere, and threading enough of an interesting narrative through to keep you engaged.

But there are 8 different endings and you can choose your friends and enemies, which increases replayability value.

The investigation and clue‐building are the highlight, with a difficulty level that feels perfectly tuned to reward careful observation without frustration.

The puzzles were fun without being frustrating, and I loved the overall atmosphere (visuals, music, etc.).

Plus sides: I liked the aesthetics, sound design, and overall feel (handling the plants and various gadgets feels almost like a comfy game, like playing around with a stress-toy).

This was the perfect game for me to lay in bed with the steam deck and just relax.
