The game is visually stunning and I recommend it for that reason alone; the embroidery animation is really appealing and fun, I love that the different characters got different textile designs for their speech boxes.
That being said, with all the great visuals and enjoyable soundtrack, I definitely felt like gameplay segments were not playtested enough and I can point to a few objective issues, such as running into various checkpoint & 'trial and error' problems.
I'll be honest the only reason that i'm leaning towards the positive side for Scarlet deer inn is because of the insanely unique art style.
You will hear nice ambient SFX though, especially in the village which made the place feel very lively.
It’s not yet verified, but it played great on the steam deck!
