It plays well, it has many charming mechanics and events, but again, that challenge mode and arena mode need more thought to it, what are you actually doing if the player finds the game too easy, you have so many ways to optimize your build, but no reason to do so because the game never got challenging enough.

Slimekeep is a cute roguelike game that has a good presentation and cute graphics, i personally don't mind the presentation of the game being focused in a single color.
