With tons of customization you can do on the card instead, it alone can carry you toward victory.

The muted color palette, candlelit textures, and weathered character portraits create an atmosphere that conveys exhaustion rather than triumph.

You can do lots of broken staff and the learning curve is quite nice.

The enemy combat prediction is unlike I've seen before and very enjoyable to dive into for each of the classes.

Combat makes sense, the mechanics are easy to understand and get a grasp on, and the "gimmicks" of each character's card selection work quite well.

Sound design reinforces the sense of isolation, with sparse environmental ambience and subtle musical cues that never overshadow gameplay.
