What players think
The recurring themes across 258 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story tells about a new character who is trying to save his sister from monsters.
Despite this small hiccup, the developers manage to deliver an overall impressive experience and showcase its wonderfully macabre art style.
Music and sound effects: Subtle ominous music with some great violin work, contributing greatly to the creepy nature of the game.
Overall, I still think it's an improvement from the first game, they dropped the whole platforming gimmick in favor of a more traditional 'adventure' gameplay.
Each chapter is contained to a pretty small area, so even if you aren't sure what to do with the inventory items, it's pretty easy to try things out.
Puzzles: Creepy Tale 2 did a fine job with the puzzles, in my opinion; not too difficult and not too easy either, balanced as everything should be.
