The game's visuals and the general mood were inspired by Zdislaw Beksinski's works.
It's a competently made game and as long as you understand what you are getting into (backtracking, hunting for collectables, not exactly challenging as a FPS) you are more than likely going to have an enjoyable time.
On sale, it may still be worth checking out just for the creepy vibes and great soundtrack, but those alone sadly don't make a game.
