The story is pretty minimal if not non-existant and boils down to the main character "becoming brave" and just maturing as a person I guess.
good graphics and optimisation on old desktops, nice settings package.
Worth a play if you want some no pressure gameplay focused on resource gathering and building up campsites.
The audio design complements this perfectly, using faint environmental sounds and light, acoustic melodies that fade in and out with your progress.
You get to build a marketplace later on where you can sell/buy the materials you need which is a help, but would've been more so had it been early game - but then it would make the game far too easy!
