What players think
The recurring themes across 106 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is also very good, while the location and some plot points may seem familiar the story itself is unique and has some genuinely surprising moments.
The designs and art direction are top tier, dont get me wrong, but internally the game is 1080p no mater what and locked at 60fps and the models lack most facial animations. that aside everything else about this game is amazing, including the soundtrack. i havent heard a soundtrack this good in a video game in a very long time. persona can eat its heart out, this game dosent have a single dud track. its all straight bangers, and i reccomend the soundtrack dlc.
If you don’t care about graphics too much and can enjoy a game for its narrative, give Monark a shot.
Not a review for the game, necessarily, I’ve played some of it on the Switch (where the graphics look much worse) and enjoy it quite a bit, but rather for the fact that one very simple thing is keeping me from playing this game on the Steam Deck.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
