It's not very hard, but trying out different combinations of powers and weapons is always fun, and the final bosses that turn into light bullet hells are great fights.

It feels fresh, the combat earns its complexity and difficulty, producing highly dynamic chaos where your goal is to manage and manipulate that chaos to your advantage.

The design of the game is very slick, visuals appealing, controls responsive.

TL;DR: Great music, good variety even if some isn't worth returning to, somewhat interesting story, addictive and challenging gameplay, reasonable run length, minor nitpicks, it's worth the price if you like games like this.

The audio design complements this presentation with punchy sound effects and energetic music that reinforce the pace and tension of combat, though it rarely draws attention to itself outside of gameplay.
