I do think if they focus on the amazing aspects of the gameplay and make a more compelling story with actual voice acting in a sequel, this game could enter the masterpiece list so easily.

It is obvious they wanted to mock the early anime dubs with the obvious character archetypes, however once you get through a good portion of the game, they all drop that facade and show their true self and it is a way more interesting plot after that.

The soundtrack fits the game's theme perfectly, and I still love listening to it even when I'm not playing the game anymore.

Graphics are kinda simple but pretty, clarity is key, almost everything around the game revolves around going fast, so this was a good choice.

I was surprised how fast I got into the card-swapping system as gunplay?

The difficulty scaling is extremely well paced in my opinion, it never makes you feel truly stuck, while simultaneously offering new mechanics, skips, and secondary objectives.
