What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While it is a compelling story, the underlying gameplay mechanic requiring you to recruit a certain number of Digimon after each story segment before you can progress again disrupts the pacing and diminishes the impact of these story moments as it always ends in "Now go recruit more Digimon again."
Recommend playing it with controller.
- While the graphics are fine, the animations are simplistic by 2023 standards.
The soundtrack perfectly blends energetic battle themes with more melodic and atmospheric tracks that set the mood for exploration.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
