Orcs Must Die! 3

TLDR: very fun game. spaghetti code hurts the loadout variety, but it's still a good game (especially with a co-op partner).

There is still a satisfying gameplay loop that is fast-paced and action-packed.

OMD3 is the most fun I've ever had in a co-op game, straight up (I wish it allowed for more than 1 co-op partner). the core gameplay loop is so good, the game plays super well overall, the movement and combat feels and flows amazing, no performance issues for me, polished game.

the graphics are great, everything genuinely looks and feels very high quality. the animations are a highlight for me personally - every animation is super smooth, especially the playable characters and weapon movesets.

Orcs must die 2 improved on everything, Character variation, victory dance variations, subtle animations, new traps, clever use of character design and sound.

In terms of sound design, the grunts and reactions of the Orcs are hilarious and when you throw them in the air, the little “weeeehhh” sounds they make made me grin every time.
