Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed

Of course, doing the side quests added a lot of depth and content to the game, so I would recommend doing those.

Pro 1: This game honestly runs VERY well on Steam Deck... has some issues in the Swamp level but was easily recoverable... the library after that was easy to get by but all in all, this game EARNED this Green verified checkmark, not given it by some companies saying just having it run and stuff at barely 30 FPS is verified (Looking at you FF VII Rebirth, saw it was updated a couple times but unless its a locked 30 for you with good visuals at least, not Verified at all there... playable... but not Verified.) so Square Enix should really learn from THQ Nordic on proper PC ports... many run WELL at the right settings.

I'm really impressed with the devs as they kept a high-fidelity to the original game, in terms of mechanics and gameplay.

The soundtrack is good and dynamic, shifting from light to dark as you progress through the levels.

I played and beat this while working to get the full paint ending *The Mad Doctor one threw me off and I didn't know I could use paint on his last robot maker in his boss fight* but enough on that since this is a review on Steam Deck by me, enjoy the list of pros and cons as I dive deep into the world of Epic Mickey: Rebrushed.

When i played the demo i thought it'd be fun. i had seen the original on the wii, but personally i was never a huge fan of playing much on the wii besides games that didn't use the pointer like games i could use another controller on and if i had to use the pointer it was something like super paper mario that didn't fully use it or a short, easy and fun game like wii sports. i never liked it with skyward sword. that is all to say that this is a full upgraded look, but it's still that wii game underneath and for me wii games that aren't fps games just can't be converted into a normal game you either get skyward sword's switch port where making right stick be to attack which was not fun and just as finicky as motion controls or it's just dull because it was built with those controls in mind and by changing it to a regular controller it's now way too easy much like converting a VR game to regular, this game is the ladder.
