What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
All the fun stuff in Goblin Stone is undone by the undercooked economy and bloated number of quests required to progress through the chapters.
I'm not yet certain if there is true meta-progression between full runs of the game, but there's lots of things to progress at your base by upgrading rooms, unlocking classes, buying weapons and breeding better goblins and such, so you can feel the overall progression slowly as you send your teams out on their missions.
Furthermore, the art style is amazing as well, especially the crazy variants of goblins one can gather!
Art, story, and voice acting is stellar - this is a story that is funny, heartwarming, and totally unexpected!
I'm a bit surprised by the lack of controller support, I'm playing on the steam deck, It's working well, but adding that couple of controller interaction would make the experience that much more enjoyable, I'm looking forward to the future updates the dev will provide.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
